About Me
I am the AgriFoRwArdS CDT Project Manager, bringing together multidisciplinary researchers and academics, and robotics and agricultural industry, to influence policy and deliver real-world impacts within agri-robotics.
I coordinate interdisciplinary and large consortium research, and oversee coordinated effort to enable growth and delivery of large research investments.
My focus is on the management, and bringing together, of the people within research grants. I deliver on grant objectives, driving projects, research communication, training programmes, recruitment and event organisation.
AgriFoRwArdS is the world's first Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Agri-Food Robotics. The Centre, funded by the EPSRC, has been established by the University of Lincoln in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia. The CDT is developing the next generation of experts in the agri-food robotics sector, and will create at least 50 leaders in robotics, who will aspire to change the world of agriculture by finding solutions to real world challenges. There is widescale engagement with industry; PhD projects are co-created with industry partners enabling research to be pushed rapidly towards real-world applications.
