Professor Hui Wang

Hui Wang is a Professor in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queen’s University Belfast. His current research focuses on AI for Science, including causality discovery, signature discovery and hypothesis discovery. He is Director of the BBSRC funded NI Landscape partnership in AI for Bioscience (NILab), a landscape doctoral training programme; Principal Investigator of the EPSRC funded MVSE (multimodal video search by examples) project.

Machine learning, knowledge representation and reasoning, and their applications in image, video, spectra and text data analyses.
