About Me
I joined the CDT because I have a passion for deepening my knowledge about subjects I find interesting and couldn't pass up this opportunity to work in and around world leading research in the Agri-tech space. My favourite thing about the CDT is the training opportunities to not only improve my knowledge academically but hopefully improve other aspects of myself and improve my confidence.
The University where I will study my PhD is the university of Lincoln at the Riseholme campus. Lincoln as a city is a wonderful place to study, not only is the campus welcoming the city itself is full of history and has a lot to offer. I am looking forward to studying at Lincoln and Riseholme as it will allow me to meet an interact with experts in the fields I am interested in as well as granting me access to technology and facilities i would other wise never get to experience.
The areas of agri-food robotics I am most interest in are autonomous machines used assist workers or fill in for gaps in the workforce. A career goal is not something I have though to much about as of yet, although working in the robotics industry is something I can see myself doing.
In my spare time I like to exercise or spend the time with family or friends, i also quite enjoy movies, any genre from action to horror. but most of all I am looking forward to where this journey takes me.
